L.O.D. Lunch On Thursday #1

A beautiful place, a tasty lunch and a concert curated by LOD-composer Frederik Neyrinck: what more could you want?

The LOD in LOD music theatre is an abbreviation of Lunch On Thursday (Lunch Op Donderdag). That's how it all started, just over thirty years ago: with lunch concerts. Today LOD music theatre produces small and large-scale productions, but the link between art and food is never far away at LOD. During Bijloke Wonderland, we put the appetising concept back on the menu.

Frederik Neyrinck invites pianist Emmy Wils (a.o. Sonos Ensemble) and theatre maker Colette Goossens (KASK) for the first lunch performance of this Bijloke Wonderland. An afternoon with repertoire for piano and a selection of texts written by Colette Goossens. Be welcome under the tent in the Bijloke courtyard garden, be pampered with a tasty lunch and surrender to the piano sounds and musings of this duo.

The concert is free of charge. Those who wish can enjoy a delicious lunch at €16, to be paid in advance. Reservations (both with and without lunch) are required so that we can provide everyone with a good seat. 

UPDATE: tickets including lunch are no longer on sale as of Tuesday 9 August, in order to give the catering enough time. Free reservations without lunch can still be made.
