UNRUHE is the new project of Groupe Crisis, a collective creation directed by Nolwenn Peterschmitt.

The initial research for the performance is based on the pivotal period of the late Middle Ages in Strasbourg, around major events such as the 'danse de Saint Guy', a dance epidemic that infected the city's inhabitants in 1518.

Based on the physical and psychological study of this phenomenon and certain recurring motifs of the period, including danse macabre, UNRUHE is a polyphonic journey in which two musicians and a group of dancers and actors experience being a community.

UNRUHE, a human fresco that takes the "last dance" as its revealing moment, explores the emergence of desire and of individual and collective impulses. It is the story of the end of a world, and of our determination to live, our need, our hunger.

This performance is free of charge, provided that a reservation is made. The performance will start at the Bijloke summer bar tent, and will continue in the 'Muzentuin'.
