Titusandonderonikustmijnklote is a production by Walter Hus, Jan Decorte & Jan Ritsema.

Titus Andonderonikustmijnklote is part three of a successful opera trilogy composed by Walter Hus, based on the Shakespeare adaptation by Jan Decorte. Following Meneer, de zot & tkint (King Lear, 1991) and Bloetwollefduivel (Macbeth, 1994), he has now got his teeth into Titus Andonderonikustmijnklote (Titus Andronicus, 1994). Once again, a brutal text is embedded in the ‘naive’ poetic idiom of Jan Decorte and written in a Flemish that is compact, expressive and resonant.

For the final piece, Titus Andonderonikustmijnklote, Hus is once again calling on the services of the director Jan Ritsema. With a group of musicians they have put together themselves, Hus and Ritsema are looking for a way of translating the cruelties of ‘the most horrific play in theatre history’ into sound and image.
