LOD muziektheater places music at the heart of bold, hybrid performing arts and creates space for new voices and perspectives. With an open view of the world, we make work that moves, connects, and continues to resonate long after the performance ends. LOD pursues a broad artistic vision and is known for the high quality of its productions.

Talent Development

LOD is strongly committed to the development of young talent. Through the annual Bijloke Summer Academy - Music Theatre (in collaboration with SPECTRA, KASK School Of Arts, Muziekcentrum De Bijloke and International Opera Academy), we support many young performing artists with a heart for music theatre.

Ghent Made: LOD Studio & Bijloke Wonderland

LOD is born and raised in Ghent and is one of the faces of the Bijloke site. We increasingly focus on presenting our productions in our own LOD Studio and during the annual summer festival Bijloke Wonderland. At the same time, LOD operates explicitly internationally, through the many touring performances and co-productions with foreign partners.
