A duet between our inner idiots.

How annoying is a world that constantly has something to say? How irritating is it to constantly feel like you have to have something to say? Can't we just refuse this intrusiveness? 

Worldwide International Global Idiodrama is a duet in which Lies Pauwels and Willemijn Zevenhuijzen try to deal with the big outside world in which so much happens. From a safe haven on stage, they go on expedition and dive into the caverns of their boundless inner world to find answers. Sometimes by simply being silent and other times by dancing like an idiot. Yes! How about we do just that: lock up that mind! And then see what happens.

Lies Pauwels and Willemijn Zevenhuijzen are two idiosyncratic theatre makers. Pauwels created, among other, Het Hamiltoncomplex at hetpaleis, and Do The Calimero at LOD muziektheater. Zevenhuijzen appeared as an actress in the acclaimed productions Het eind van het begin van het einde, Een leuk avondje uit and De. A collaboration between Pauwels and Zevenhuijzen represents a special fusion of two unique artistic worlds.
