Woman at Point Zero at WIENER FESTWOCHEN
We are very pleased to announce that the award-winning opera Woman At Point Zero by Bushra El-Turk, Laila Soliman and Stacy Hardy will be performing at the WIENER FESTWOCHEN 2024, curated by Milo Rau:
"As the Academy’s first woman composer, British-Lebanese composer Bushra El-Turk presents her celebrated new opera Woman at Point Zero – an almost emblematic title in light of the fact that 7.7 % of the works performed by orchestras worldwide stem from womxn composers even after over a century of Modernism."
The show will play on 22 and 23 May 2024 at the Jugendstiltheater, Vienna.
